Partners

Working Together for Our Community

Each of these partnerships plays a vital role in our mission to create a thriving, supportive community in Druids Heath. By combining our strengths and resources, we can achieve more together than we ever could alone. Whether it's providing essential services, creating opportunities, or building community connections, these collaborations form the foundation of our work to improve lives and create positive change.

Reaching Communities

We fund projects that create positive change in communities, whether by location, interest, or shared experience. Funding supports new or existing activities, organisational adaptation, and innovative solutions. We prioritise people-led, strengths-based, and connected initiatives that bring people together, improve spaces, and help individuals reach their potential, including cost-of-living support.

Network Neighbourhood Scheme

NNS plays a crucial role in supporting our older residents and those with disabilities to live independently. Their comprehensive approach includes organizing social activities, connecting people to local services, and reducing isolation. Working together, we ensure that every resident has access to the support they need to remain active and engaged in community life.

Birmingham City Council

Our strong partnership with Birmingham City Council enables us to address community needs effectively. From housing support to environmental improvements, this collaboration ensures local voices are heard and services are tailored to our community's specific needs. Regular consultation and joint projects help us maximize resources and create lasting positive change.

West Midlands Police

Our collaboration with local policing teams goes beyond traditional law enforcement. Through regular community meetings, youth engagement programs, and safety initiatives, we're building trust and understanding. This partnership helps create a safer environment where residents feel secure and supported in their daily lives.

Home of The Free Church

At the heart of our community, Home of The Free Church offers more than spiritual guidance. Their welcoming space hosts community events, support groups, and youth activities. Through shared values of compassion and service, we work together to provide emotional support, practical help, and a sense of belonging to local residents.

Fortem

Fortem's commitment to Druids Heath extends far beyond property maintenance. Their investment in local employment, apprenticeships, and community projects helps build sustainable futures. Through environmental initiatives and support for local businesses, they help create opportunities that benefit the whole community, demonstrating how corporate partnerships can drive positive social change.

FareShare

As the UK's pioneering food redistribution charity, FareShare transforms surplus food into vital nutrition for our community. Their nationwide network of suppliers and volunteers helps us provide regular food support to Druids Heath residents. Beyond just providing meals, this partnership helps us address food poverty while reducing waste, creating a more sustainable and caring community.

Birmingham Heritage Forum

Birmingham Heritage Forum connects organisations preserving Birmingham’s heritage, including museums, historic sites, and visitor services. Founded in 1991 by Birmingham City Council, it became independent in 1997. Run by volunteers, it promotes heritage awareness, especially among young people, and supports events like Heritage Open Days to inspire future generations.
