As co-founder of The Spearhead Trust, Dorothy's extraordinary journey began in 2001 when she, alongside her husband Sid, transformed a vision of community care into reality. For over two decades, her remarkable blend of personal experience and professional dedication has been the heartbeat of our organisation.

Dorothy's role as General Manager draws on her exceptional talent for juggling multiple responsibilities - a skill she mastered while raising six children of her own and opening her heart and home as a foster carer. Her natural ability to nurture and support others shapes every aspect of our operations, from staff development to financial stewardship.

Beyond managing our day-to-day operations and finances, Dorothy's active involvement with the Home of the Free church reflects her deep-rooted commitment to community service. Her hands-on approach and understanding of family life continue to guide The Spearhead Trust's development, ensuring we remain true to our founding principles of compassionate community support.
